A few years ago I read Erich Segal's novel Love Story and I finally saw the 1970 movie version this weekend. This is pretty much the saddest story you will ever see, so be prepared to cry a lot (I did) if you watch it.

Ali MacGraw's character, the bookish, mouthy, but definitely cool, Jenny Cavalleri has a great sense of style. It fits right in to a number of trends right now: geek-chic, mod and '70s. Her outfits are simple but I still find them very inspiring. I am now on the look-out for high-waisted, a-line, mini-skirts like Jenny's. For guys interested in a new take on preppy, check out this movie for inspiration from Oliver's awesome Harvard wardrobe.
