You may remember a few months back I was scouring the Internet for the perfect flat brown boots. I tried eBay and failed and then found some replacements on Etsy. Well, it would have been nice if that had worked out but instead I got burned by an Etsy scammer! These will never be mine, alas.

I waited and waited for a package to arrive but it never came. I filed a dispute on Etsy which amounted to zero. The seller's feedback on Etsy slowly went sour with many girls complaining they never received their items. Then, I filed a dispute on PayPal and luckily received a (partial) refund for the boots. I didn't want a refund, though! I wanted these boots. Now, I will not be able to wear all the outfits I planned around them and I will have to keep looking for the right pair. So, I guess this is my warning to you all to be careful when buying online. I'm sure this doesn't happen often, as it was my first negative experience, but it was very disappointing. Now I am still searching for the right boots and it is almost fall.
This is the Etsy seller that screwed me (and others) by the way: FlowerChildVintage. I was going to include a link but it appears that this store has disappeared off the site (what a surprise!).

Oh no...!!! It's so disappointing when it happens, by my side i'm used to buy some stuffs on ebay and rarely i've found bad sellers.
That stinks! What a disappointment.
Aw that's too bad. I hope you find something soon. There are a lot of local Vancouver events that are taking place. Maybe you will find something there :)
